The Meaning Behind CDJ
The name CDJ stands for Chris, David, and Jordan, representing the family foundation on which this company was built. It is a tribute to our late mother, Christine (Chris) MacPhail, whose love, resilience, and unwavering support continue to guide our journey.
The name came to life when David’s younger brother, Jordan, jokingly suggested “CD Enterprize Ltd.” to represent Chris and David. Inspired by the sentiment, David added the “J” for Jordan—transforming a lighthearted idea into a lasting legacy of love, family, and purpose.

Our Story
In 2016, David MacPhail launched his first venture, Oceanside Websites, at just 18 years old. What began as a small web development business quickly evolved into a multi-industry enterprise built on integrity, hard work, and the belief that business should always be personal. Over the years, CDJ Enterprize Ltd. has grown to include a diverse group of companies—each driven by a shared commitment to service, quality, and sustainability.
Today, our portfolio includes CDJ Metal Recycling, which provides environmentally responsible recycling services for individuals and businesses;Oceanside Websites, offering modern web design and digital solutions for clients of all sizes;CDJ New N’ Used, a retail venture promoting reuse, resale, and community-focused sustainability;XCite Toys, a bold and unapologetic adult toy brand delivering premium, hardcore gear for those seeking unforgettable experiences; and Midnight Sun Landscaping, our property care and landscaping division proudly serving residential and commercial clients across Vancouver Island.
Though these businesses operate in different sectors, they are all connected by a central mission: to create lasting value through trust, innovation, and strong relationships with our clients and communities.
